3 cups water
3 cups chicken stock
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups quick-cooking grits
12 ounces Velveeta, cubed (about 2-1/3 cups)
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1/2 cup 2% milk
4 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large saucepan, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp, stirring occasionally. Remove pan from heat. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels., Add water, stock, garlic powder and pepper to bacon drippings; bring to a boil. Slowly stir in grits. ½ cup butter
1 cup uncooked grits
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon white pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
⅓ cup butter
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 cups grits (not instant)
1/2 cup butter
