3 C matzo farfel
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
6 TB sugar
1/3 C. butter (or margarine)
2 medium ripe bananas

Steps:

  • Pour cod water over farfel and drain immediately. Beat eggs with salt, sugar, and butter. Mix farfel into egg mixture. Put 1/2 farfel into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Slice bananas and put on top of farfel mixture. Sprinkle with nuts and cinnamon. Pour remaining farfel mixture over top and bake at 350 degrees about 30-40 minutes or until top is brown.
