Tips:

  • Use melted butter: Softened butter can be used, but melted butter will create a more tender cookie.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing will result in a tough cookie. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Chill the dough: Chilling the dough will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Use a cookie scoop: A cookie scoop will help you get evenly sized cookies. Roll the dough into balls if you don't have a cookie scoop.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature: A high baking temperature will help the cookies set quickly and prevent them from becoming too soft.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before frosting: The cookies will be easier to frost and the frosting will set better if the cookies are completely cooled.

Conclusion:

Bannys Southern Cream Cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make cookie that is perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy, with a sweet and tangy frosting. These cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
