Tips:

  • Use chilled butter and cream cheese for a flakier crust. Chilling the ingredients will help them hold their shape better in the oven.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing can result in a tough crust.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature for a short amount of time. This will help them get crispy and golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before serving. This will help them set and firm up.
  • Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

The beach day cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their sweet and salty flavor, they are sure to be a hit with everyone. So next time you're looking for a fun and festive snack, give these cookies a try.
