Tips:

  • Choose ripe, firm mangoes and pears for the best flavor and texture.
  • Use a sharp knife to julienne the mango and pear.
  • If you don't have a julienne peeler, you can use a vegetable peeler to create thin strips of mango and pear.
  • Be careful not to overcook the flank steak. It should be cooked to medium-rare or medium for the best flavor and texture.
  • If you don't have a grill, you can cook the flank steak in a hot skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Let the flank steak rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing it against the grain.
  • Toss the salad just before serving to prevent the dressing from wilting the greens.
  • Serve the salad immediately.

Conclusion:

This beef, mango, and pear salad is a delicious and refreshing summer dish. The sweet and tangy dressing perfectly complements the grilled flank steak, ripe mango, and pear. This salad is also a good source of protein, fiber, and vitamins. It's a great option for a light lunch or dinner.
