2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 package (8 oz) sliced mushrooms
2 cups fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 cups milk
1/2 cup hot water
1 box Hamburger Helper™ stroganoff
1/2 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until some pink remains. Stir in mushrooms and green beans; continue cooking until beef is no longer pink. Add milk, hot water and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper™ box); stir to combine. Stir in uncooked pasta (from Hamburger Helper™ box). Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce is thick.
  • Remove from heat; stir in sour cream.

1 pound fresh green beans
1 ½ ounces slivered almonds
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place beans into a microwave-safe casserole dish with enough water to cover the bottom. Microwave on high power until almost tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain in a colander and refresh under cold running water to keep the nice green color.

2 pounds beef flank steak, cut into bite-size pieces
2 green bell peppers, seeded and chopped
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed beef consomme (such as Campbell's ®)
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup (such as Campbell's ®)
1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
