THE BEST EVER GRILLED CHICKEN MARINADE

The BEST EVER Grilled Chicken Marinade image

Number Of Ingredients 11

½ cup oil
½ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1/8 cup lemon juice
¾ cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp fresh rosemary
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
6 chicken breasts or 3.5 lb chicken

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag.
  • Add chicken to the bag and place the closed ziplock bag in a large bowl and put in the fridge. (The bowl will keep it from making a huge mess in case the bag leaks)
  • Marinade for at least 8 hours or overnight and grill! Enjoy!
  • (I do not add any extra salt to my chicken marinade because salt will dry the chicken out. ALWAYS salt the chicken AFTER you grill it to ensure. It will need a good bit of salt after it is done)

Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken: For best results, use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. These cuts are tender and flavorful, and they cook quickly on the grill.
  • Make a flavorful marinade: The key to great grilled chicken is a flavorful marinade. Experiment with different combinations of herbs, spices, and citrus juices to find a marinade that you love. Some classic marinade ingredients include olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes: The longer you marinate the chicken, the more flavorful it will be. If you're short on time, you can marinate the chicken for as little as 30 minutes, but for best results, marinate it for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat your grill: Before you start grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. This will help to prevent the chicken from sticking to the grates.
  • Grill the chicken over medium-high heat: Grill the chicken over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through. Be sure to turn the chicken frequently to prevent it from burning.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving: Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Grilled chicken is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed in many different ways. With a little planning and preparation, you can easily make grilled chicken that is tender, flavorful, and healthy. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give grilled chicken a try. You won't be disappointed!
