BET YOU CAN'T EAT JUST ONE SHRIMP
The perfect Spanish tapas! These disappear quickly at parties; there's something about the mix of flavors that becomes addictive. You control the heat: the more red pepper flakes you use, the spicier it will be! This hors d'oeuvre is best when it marinates at least two or three days.

Tips:
- When preparing baking sheets, a nonstick spray is recommended instead of butter or shortening to prevent the biscuits from sticking. Alternatively, parchment paper can be used for easier cleanup.
- For light and fluffy biscuits, make sure to use cold butter and buttermilk. The cold butter will create steam pockets in the dough as it bakes, resulting in a flaky texture. The acidity of the buttermilk will help tenderize the dough and give it a slight tang.
- Do not overwork the dough. Overworking will result in tough biscuits. Once the dough comes together, stop kneading and pat it out into a circle.
- When cutting the biscuits, use a sharp knife or biscuit cutter. A dull knife will tear the dough and prevent the biscuits from rising properly.
- Place the biscuits close together on the baking sheet. This will help them rise evenly and create a crispy crust.
- Bake the biscuits in a hot oven. This will help them rise quickly and prevent them from becoming dry.
- Serve the biscuits warm with your favorite toppings, such as butter, honey, or jam.
