Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen blackberries. Fresh blackberries are best, but frozen blackberries can also be used. If using frozen blackberries, thaw them before using.
  • Do not overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the scones tough. Mix the dough just until it comes together.
  • Chill the dough before baking. Chilling the dough will help the scones rise and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the scones. A sharp knife will help prevent the scones from tearing.
  • Bake the scones until they are golden brown. The scones should be baked until they are golden brown on top and cooked through in the center.

Conclusion:

Blackberry scones are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a snack. With a few simple tips, you can make perfect blackberry scones every time.
