This recipe was given to me some time ago, and I've used it often since. In fact, it's so good that it won first prize at a county fair! Blueberries are plentiful here in the Midwest, and this is a delicious way to prepare them. -Irene Parry, Kenosha, Wisconsin

Tips:
- Use fresh blueberries for the best flavor. If using frozen blueberries, thaw them before incorporating them into the batter.
- Grate the orange zest finely to release the maximum flavor. If you don't have a zester, use a microplane grater.
- Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly before adding them to the wet ingredients. This will help prevent lumps in the batter.
- Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in tough muffins.
- Fill the muffin cups only 2/3 full. This will allow the muffins to rise properly and prevent them from overflowing.
- Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Overbaking can result in dry muffins.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
