NOBU'S SASHIMI SALAD

Nobu's Sashimi Salad image

We love this recipe. It's based on the recipe that Nobu made famous at his restaurant (which I highly recommend) and on his television appearances. I often add a good amount of seaweed to the salad, just because we like it so much.

Tips:

  • Choose the freshest bluefin tuna possible. The fresher the tuna, the better the sashimi will be. Look for tuna that is bright red in color and has a firm texture.
  • Cut the tuna against the grain. This will help to prevent the sashimi from becoming tough.
  • Use a sharp knife. A sharp knife will make it easier to cut the tuna into thin, even slices.
  • Serve the sashimi immediately. Sashimi is best enjoyed when it is fresh.
  • Garnish the sashimi with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include sliced avocado, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
  • Drizzle the sashimi with matsuhisa dressing. Matsuhisa dressing is a delicious, creamy dressing that is perfect for sashimi.

Conclusion:

Bluefin toro sashimi salad with matsuhisa dressing is a delicious and elegant dish that is perfect for a special occasion. The rich flavor of the tuna is complemented by the creamy dressing and the fresh vegetables. This salad is sure to impress your guests.
