This is one of my favorite recipes. I have made several kinds of BBQ beef, but this recipe stands out as the best I have ever made, and is fast & easy to prepare. I guarantee that your family & friends will ask for more.

3 lbs ground chuck
1 large onion (chopped)
1 -15 ounce tomato sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon oniion salt
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 packet g. washington's seasoning
bullseye barbecue sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • In a 5 quart pan break up beef, add onion, and pepper and cook on medium heat until meat is thoroughly cooked and fat is completely gone being careful not to burn meat. If necessary pour off remaing grease. Add all other ingredients to beef and mix together well. Add 1/2 bottle BBQ sauce. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for one hour.

3 pounds bone-in pork roast
2 tablespoons dried marjoram
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons caraway seed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Heat a roasting pan over medium high heat until hot. Rub the roast with the marjoram, salt and pepper. Brown all sides of the roast in the hot roasting pan. Sprinkle caraway seeds over all and pour in enough water to come halfway up the sides of the roast.
  • Cover and place roast in the preheated oven. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) is reached, about 30 minutes per pound. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before carving.

1 cup beef bouillon
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chili sauce
1 cup ketchup
3 teaspoons cider vinegar

2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon ground allspice

Steps:

150 g chestnut mushrooms, cleaned
250 g flat mushrooms, cleaned

  • Cut out 12 squares of aluminium foil, about 20cm square a piece.
  • Divide into four piles of three squares each to give you plenty of layers of foil between the food and the grill.
  • Oil and butter the top half of one square on each pile.
