Tips:

  • Choose the Right Fish: For best results, select firm, mild-flavored fish fillets such as tilapia, cod, or flounder.
  • Seasoning is Key: Don't skimp on seasoning! Season the fish fillets generously with salt, pepper, and your preferred herbs and spices.
  • Perfect Binding: To prevent the filling from leaking out during baking, secure the fish fillets with toothpicks or skewers.
  • Crispy Breadcrumbs: For a golden-brown, crispy crust, use a combination of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Flavorful Filling: Experiment with various fillings to create unique flavor combinations. Some popular options include crab, shrimp, spinach, and mushrooms.
  • Cooking Time: The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fish fillets. A good rule of thumb is to bake for 15-20 minutes at 350°F (175°C) or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
