Categories     Fish     Bake     Quick & Easy

Yield 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 Cans Albacore Chunk White Tuna in Water
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 Can Milk
1 C. Shredded cheddar cheese
1 10 oz. Bag frozen Broccoli
1 can Buttermilk Biscuits

Steps:

  • Place the broccoli in the bottom of a glass 9 x 13 pan. Cook in microwave about 5 minutes on high. Drain tuna well and sprinkle chunks on top. Mix the milk with the soup and pour on top of the tuna & broccoli. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Then place the biscuits on top of everything. Bake according to biscuit directions.

Tips:

  • Choose the right broccoli. For the best flavor and texture, use fresh broccoli with tight florets and a deep green color.
  • Cook the broccoli properly. Broccoli should be cooked until it is tender but still has a slight crunch. Overcooking will make it mushy.
  • Use a good quality tuna. Canned tuna is a great option for this casserole, but be sure to use a brand that you trust. Look for tuna that is packed in water or olive oil.
  • Don't skimp on the cheese. Cheese is what makes this casserole so delicious. Use a good quality cheddar cheese or a blend of cheeses.
  • Add your own favorite ingredients. This casserole is a great way to use up leftover vegetables or meat. Feel free to add whatever you like, such as diced carrots, celery, or ham.

Conclusion:

Broccoli tuna casserole is a classic comfort food dish that is easy to make and loved by people of all ages. It is a great way to use up leftover broccoli and tuna, and it can be easily tailored to your own taste. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give this broccoli tuna casserole a try. You won't be disappointed!
