Tips for Making Brown Butter Sandwich Spritz:

  • Use high-quality butter. The better the butter, the better the cookies will be. Look for a butter with a high fat content (82% or higher) and a rich, creamy flavor.
  • Brown the butter properly. Don't rush this step, or your cookies won't have the same delicious flavor. Cook the butter over medium heat until it turns a deep golden brown and smells nutty and fragrant.
  • Let the browned butter cool slightly before using it. If you add the hot butter to the dough, it will melt the sugar and make the cookies spread too much. Let the butter cool for a few minutes until it is just warm to the touch.
  • Chill the dough before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaked cookies will be dry and crumbly. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to brown.

Conclusion:

Brown butter sandwich spritz cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their rich, buttery flavor and delicate texture, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a special treat, give these cookies a try!
