4 zucchinis, chopped

2 cups buttermilk

1/4 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 lbs zucchini, thick sliced
3 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 -2 poblano peppers or 1 -2 anaheim chili, seeded, deveined and chopped
1/3 cup half-and-half
1/4 cup Cotija cheese, grated (optional)
