CHICKEN & MUSHROOM PASTA
The pasta cooks right in the skillet along with the chicken, mushrooms and the simmering creamy sauce, saving you time and clean-up!

Steps:
- Sprinkle the chicken with Italian seasoning and season as desired. Heat the oil in a large deep nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until browned.
- Add the mushrooms and garlic. Cook and stir for 3 minutes or until the mushrooms are slightly softened.
- Stir in the soup, water and milk; heat to a boil. Stir in the pasta and lemon juice. Reduce the heat to medium. Boil gently, uncovered, stirring often, for 9 minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Cook and stir for 1 to 3 minutes or until the pasta has reached the desired tenderness. Season to taste and sprinkle with extra Parmesan if desired.

- Mix soup,water and pasta in shallow 2 qt (2L) baking dish. Stir in vegetables.
- Top with chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper. Cover.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) until chicken is cooked through and pasta is tender - about 45 minutes. Remove cover and broil until cheese is golden and bubbly - about 3 minutes.

- Combine pasta, soup, milk and pepper in a medium casserole dish.
- Mix margarine and bread crumbs (or crackers) and sprinkle over top of pasta mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 400F or until hot.
- Use any type of pasta you like. Elbow macaroni, penne, and rotini are all great choices.
- You can use any type of cheese you like. Cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan are all popular choices.
- Add some cooked meat to your pasta bake. Ground beef, sausage, or chicken are all great options.
- Add some vegetables to your pasta bake. Broccoli, carrots, and peas are all great choices.
- Season your pasta bake to taste. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder are all good options.
