CARAMEL BISCUIT RING
Steps:
- In a 2 qt. heat and pour measuring bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, water, karo, and cinnamon. Cook on high for 1 minute or until butter is melted. Stir in some nuts if desired. Separate and cut biscuits in half. Arrange pieces in bunt pan or other suitable dish. Stir and pour caramel over biscuits. Bake four to seven minutes on BAKE setting (60%). * We use Pillsbury Big Country 12oz cans of buttermilk flavor biscuits. To compensate for the larger amount of biscuits, we use a bit more of the caramel sauce ingredients.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the taste of your caramel biscuit ring. Use real butter, pure vanilla extract, and good-quality chocolate.
- Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the dough tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Chill the dough before baking. This will help the dough to hold its shape and prevent it from spreading too much.
- Bake the caramel biscuit ring until it is golden brown. This will ensure that it is cooked through.
- Let the caramel biscuit ring cool completely before serving. This will allow the flavors to develop and the ring to set.
Conclusion:
The caramel biscuit ring is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with simple ingredients and can be decorated to your liking. With its sweet and crunchy filling, the caramel biscuit ring is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
