1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2-1/2 cups sugar
1 large egg, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
ICING:
3-3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup water
4 teaspoons meringue powder
Blue and yellow paste food coloring

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in egg and extract. Gradually beat flour into creamed mixture. Divide dough in half. 1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoon baking powder

Icing
3 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons (or more) milk
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 to 4 drops blue food coloring

  • For cookies:
