Tips:
- To ensure that your burgers are cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 165 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or 170 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
- If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can also check for doneness by cutting into the burger. If the juices run clear, the burger is cooked through.
- To prevent the burgers from sticking to the pan, make sure that the pan is hot before adding the burgers. You can also grease the pan with cooking spray or oil.
- If you are using a cast iron skillet to cook the burgers, preheat the skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes before adding the burgers.
- To make the cheddar bacon ranch sauce, simply combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
- If you don't have ranch dressing, you can make your own by combining mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- To assemble the burgers, simply place a burger patty on a bun and top with cheddar bacon ranch sauce, bacon, cheddar cheese, and any other desired toppings.
