- 1. Melt margarine and add all ingredients. Press into a 9"X13" pan and bake @ 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool
- 2. For the filling: 2 pkts of dream whip 1 tsp. vanilla 8 oz. cream cheese 1 cup milk 1 cup confec. sugar one can cherry pie filling Mix dream whip, vanilla and milk until thick. - 1. In a medium microwave safe bowl, melt butter in 30 second increments until melted. To this stir in the granulated sugar and 1 1/2 cups of pretzels. ( walnuts if using ) Set 1/2 cup of the crushed pretzels aside. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 dish.
- 2. In another bowl, whip together the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until creamy. Fold in 8 ounces of cool whip, until well combined. Spread this mixture over the pretzel crust. Spread both cans of cherries evenly over cream cheese layer.
