Tips:
- Use fresh cherries for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh cherries, you can use frozen or canned cherries, but be sure to drain them well before using.
- Make sure the butter and eggs are at room temperature before you start baking. This will help the cake to rise properly.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the cake tough.
- To test if the cake is done, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
- Let the cake cool completely before glazing it. This will help the glaze to set properly.
Conclusion:
Cherry glazed sponge cake is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its light and fluffy texture, sweet cherry glaze, and beautiful presentation, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
