Talk about easy, this dessert is just that; and very impressive as well. Just 10 mins to make? Oh, Yeah!!! For those of you who prefer a less sweet taste, BecR suggested you replace some of the whipped topping with sour cream. Or even just adding some sour cream. ENJOY!

Time 5m

Yield 16 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice for another recipe or drink it!)
1 1/2-2 cups chopped pecans (optional) or 1 1/2-2 cups walnuts (optional)
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined.
  • Chill for an hour or two and then serve!

Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen cherries for the best flavor. If using frozen cherries, thaw them completely before using.
  • Choose a ripe pineapple for the fluff. A ripe pineapple will be sweet and juicy.
  • Do not overcook the cherries. Overcooked cherries will become tough and lose their flavor.
  • Let the pie filling cool completely before using it. This will help the filling to thicken and set.
  • Use a store-bought pie crust or make your own. If using a store-bought pie crust, thaw it according to the package directions.
  • Chill the pie before serving. This will help the pie to set and make it easier to slice.

Conclusion:

Cherry pie filling and pineapple fluff are two delicious and easy-to-make desserts. They can be enjoyed on their own or used as a topping for other desserts, such as pies, cakes, and ice cream. With a little planning, you can make these desserts ahead of time and enjoy them all week long.
