1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
½ teaspoon salt
1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
½ teaspoon dried rosemary

Tips:

  • Choose lean chicken. Skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs are good options.
  • Use low-sodium chicken broth. This will help keep the stew from being too salty.
  • Add plenty of vegetables. Vegetables add flavor, nutrients, and bulk to the stew. Good options include carrots, celery, onions, potatoes, and green beans.
  • Use a variety of spices. This will give the stew a more complex flavor. Good options include garlic, onion powder, paprika, cumin, and chili powder.
  • Cook the stew slowly. This will allow the flavors to meld and the chicken to become tender.
  • Serve the stew with a side of whole-grain bread or brown rice. This will help make the meal more filling.
