Tips:
- To make the chicken strips extra crispy, double-coat them in the breading mixture.
- If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup of milk and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
- Be sure to heat the oil to the correct temperature before frying the chicken strips. If the oil is too hot, the chicken will burn; if it's too cool, the chicken will be greasy.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when frying the chicken strips. This will cause the oil temperature to drop and the chicken will not cook evenly.
- Serve the chicken strips with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet and sour sauce, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.
Conclusion:
These chicken strips with sweet and sour sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that the whole family will enjoy. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the sweet and sour sauce is the perfect complement. Whether you're serving them for a weeknight dinner or a party, these chicken strips are sure to be a hit.
