1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
chili powder to taste
1 (15.25 ounce) can kidney beans, drained

1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
16 ounces sour cream
kosher salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
4 cups chili, warmed (recommended Johnny Jalapeno's Thieving Bandit Chili)
2 cups cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F Begin cooking noodles according to package directions. Have cream cheese and sour cream ready.
  • Remove noodles from heat, drain in collander, and return directly to pot. add cream cheese, sour cream, salt, and black pepper. Stirr thoroughly, mixing well.
  • Lightly grease a 9x9 pan with butter or spray butter. Spread half the noodle mixture into pan. Spread chili over top, then spread remaining noodles. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and cayenne pepper.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef
1 8ounce can tomato sauce
1 cup milk
1 1.25 ounce packet taco seasoning
4 slices American cheese
3/4 cup crushed corn chips

  • Prep: 15 minutes Cook: 44 minutes Lightly mist a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. In a large pot of boiling water, cook noodles until al dente, 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside. Preheat oven to 350°. Warm oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until just tender, about 3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook, stirring and breaking up into small pieces, until no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain beef mixture, then stir in tomato sauce, milk and taco seasoning.
