SPECIAL SPICY SEAFOOD SAUCE
I've been serving this tangy seafood sauce for over 30 years, and I'm always asked for the recipe. Low in fat and easy to make, it's a great seafood sauce to serve with cold shrimp as an appetizer. The recipe is easy to halve or double, too. I've found it's usually smart to make extra. It goes so fast! -Carolyn Chapman, Yelm, Washington

Tips:
- Fresh seafood: For the best flavor, use fresh seafood whenever possible. If you can't find fresh seafood, frozen seafood is a good alternative. Just be sure to thaw it completely before using it.
- Quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly affect the taste of your sauce. Use high-quality seafood, vegetables, and spices. Fresh ingredients will always produce the best flavor.
- Adjust the heat level: If you don't like spicy food, you can adjust the heat level of the sauce by reducing the amount of chili peppers or Sriracha sauce. You can also add more sugar or honey to balance out the heat.
- Serve immediately: This sauce is best served immediately after it is made. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but it will lose some of its flavor over time. You may need to stir or shake the sauce before serving after it is refrigerated.
- Garnish with fresh herbs: Finely chopped fresh herbs, such as cilantro, Thai basil, or mint, can add a refreshing flavor and color to the sauce.
Conclusion:
This chilled spicy seafood sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce with a combination of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory flavors. It is perfect for seafood dishes, but it can also be used as a dipping sauce for vegetables, spring rolls, or other appetizers. With its vibrant colors and bold flavors, this sauce is sure to impress your guests. So next time you're looking for a tasty and easy-to-make sauce, give this chilled spicy seafood sauce a try.
