1/4 cup corn syrup
1-1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries with stems, drained and patted dry

Steps:

  • In a microwave. melt butter and chocolate until melted. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Transfer to a large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Gradually stir in flour and mix well. , Fill paper-lined miniature muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 350° for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 1 (16 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained
2/3 cup butter
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
2 teaspoons shortening

Steps:

  • Cut 12 cherries in half, and set aside. Chop the remaining cherries, and set aside.
  • Combine butter and 1/2 cup chocolate morsels in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook until the butter and chocolate melt, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and let cool slightly.
  • Combine the flour and next 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well and set aside.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray 48 mini muffin cups with cooking spray. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix and cocoa until well mixed. Stir in butter, water and egg until soft dough forms.
