1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 to 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. , Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 28 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows. 2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup Quicker Quaker Oats
2/3 cup maraschino cherry, Chopped (divided)
1/2 cup walnuts or 1/2 cup pecans, Chopped
2 teaspoons vegetable shortening

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • In 2-quart heavy saucepan on low heat, melt 1 cup chocolate chips with butter, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
