2 cups dark cocoa
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
12 ounces unsalted butter, at room temperature
3 1/2 cups granulated sugar
5 eggs
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Cover dried cherries with warm water and set aside to plump.
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Prepare 12-cup bundt pan (or 2 loaf pans) by brushing lightly with canola oil or cooking spray.
