WAY TOO EASY WARM PEANUT BUTTER - CHOCOLATE DIP/SPREAD
This was a pregnancy-induced creation during one of my hormonal late night snacking periods. I was craving a peanut buttery and chocolate dip for sliced bananas and came up with this. It's very creamy and delicious. Serve warm and dip your favorite accompaniments to your hearts delight, or cool and serve as a cracker spread. It's yummy either way!

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SPREAD
This recipe came from my good friend Randi. She makes it and gives it as Christmas gifts. We love it warmed up on vanilla ice cream, but you can put it on anything. It is delicious. The recipe is super simple, but the clean-up is a bit messy.

Steps:
- 1. Mix first 5 ingredients until smooth. Dissolve coffee in hot water. Add coffee to chocolate/peanut butter mix. Stir thoroughly. If you would like it coffee free, just substitute another teaspoon of water or vanilla.
- 2. Store in air-tight container. We use mason jars, but you could also use plastic containers with tight fitting lids.
Tips:
- To make the creamiest spread, use smooth peanut butter and chocolate.
- If you like a little crunch, use chunky peanut butter.
- Add a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness of the spread.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate.
- If you want a sweeter spread, use milk chocolate.
- You can also add other ingredients to your spread, such as chopped nuts, dried fruit, or even bacon.
- Store the spread in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Conclusion:
Chocolate peanut butter spread is a delicious and versatile treat that can be enjoyed in many different ways. Whether you spread it on toast, crackers, or fruit, or use it as a dip for pretzels or cookies, this spread is sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy snack or dessert, give chocolate peanut butter spread a try. You won't be disappointed!
