1 ½ cups self-rising flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch round pan. Sift together the flour and cocoa. Set aside.

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons instant coffee granules dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan. Mix together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
4 large eggs
1-1/4 cups water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup vanilla frosting

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cake and pudding mixes, eggs, water and oil. Beat on low speed until moistened. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs, room temperature
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Confectioners' sugar, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. 1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup vegetable shortening

1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup oil
