2 cups dry multigrain elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 pound ground round beef (85% lean)
1 can (15 oz each) Manwich® Original Sloppy Joe Sauce
1 can (15 oz each) Van Camp's® Pork and Beans
1-1/2 cups frozen whole kernel corn
1 can (4 oz each) diced green chilies, undrained
1 cup shredded reduced fat Colby Jack cheese

Steps:

  • 1.Cook macaroni according to package directions, omitting salt. 2.Meanwhile, cook beef in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until crumbled and no longer pink, stirring occasionally; drain. Stir in all remaining ingredients, except macaroni and cheese. Cook 5 to 8 minutes or until hot and bubbly, stirring occasionally. 3.When macaroni is cooked, stir into beef mixture. Top with cheese; cover and let stand 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality beef: Chuck roast is a tough cut of meat, so it's important to use high-quality beef. Look for chuck roast that is well-marbled with fat, which will help keep the meat moist and flavorful as it cooks.
  • Brown the beef well: Browning the beef is an important step that helps develop flavor and color. Make sure to brown the beef in a hot skillet over medium-high heat until it is browned on all sides.
  • Use a good quality pasta: The type of pasta you use can make a big difference in the final dish. Look for a pasta that is made with high-quality durum wheat and has a good texture.
  • Don't overcook the pasta: Pasta should be cooked al dente, which means it should be cooked through but still have a slight bite to it. Overcooked pasta will be mushy and unpleasant to eat.
  • Use a flavorful sauce: The sauce is what will really make your chuckwagon beef pasta skillet shine. Use a sauce that is packed with flavor, such as a tomato sauce, a creamy sauce, or a pesto sauce.
  • Add your favorite toppings: Once your chuckwagon beef pasta skillet is cooked, you can add your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include cheese, sour cream, salsa, and guacamole.

Conclusion:

Chuckwagon beef pasta skillet is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a busy weeknight dinner. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can have a flavorful and satisfying meal that the whole family will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner idea, give chuckwagon beef pasta skillet a try.
