Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the gobs will taste. Look for a chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Chop the chocolate finely. This will help it melt evenly and smoothly.
  • Don't overcook the chocolate. Overcooked chocolate will be grainy and dry. Cook it just until it is melted and smooth.
  • Add the nuts and dried fruit last. This will prevent them from burning.
  • Let the gobs cool completely before serving. This will help them firm up and hold their shape.

Conclusion:

Chunky chocolate gobs are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a snack. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a batch of gobs that will satisfy your sweet tooth. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy treat, give chunky chocolate gobs a try.
