Tips:

  • Pork tenderloin is a lean and tender cut of meat, so it's important to not overcook it. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare, or 160°F (71°C) for medium.
  • If you don't have apple cider, you can substitute an equal amount of apple juice.
  • To make a quick and easy cider glaze, simply combine apple cider, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the glaze has thickened. This should take about 5 minutes.
  • If you want a thicker glaze, you can add a cornstarch slurry. To make a cornstarch slurry, whisk together equal parts cornstarch and water until smooth. Add the slurry to the simmering glaze, whisking constantly, until the glaze has thickened to your desired consistency.
  • You can also add other ingredients to the glaze, such as chopped apples, raisins, or cranberries. Get creative and experiment with different flavors!

Conclusion:

Cider-glazed pork tenderloin is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight meal. The pork tenderloin is juicy and tender, and the cider glaze is sweet and tangy. Serve with roasted potatoes, green beans, or a salad for a complete meal.
