BROWN SUGAR & CINNAMON PANCAKES
Steps:
- MIX flour, Cream of Wheat cereals and baking powder in medium bowl; set aside. BEAT milk, egg and margarine in separate bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Add to dry ingredients; mix just until blended. Let stand 5 minutes. COAT hot griddle or hot skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Ladle scant 1/4 cup batter onto griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top; turn over and cook until lightly browned. Repeat with remaining pancake batter. Serve with butter and maple syrup, if desired.
Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients. Fresh buttermilk, eggs, and butter will give your pancakes the best flavor and texture.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make your pancakes tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Let the batter rest for a few minutes before cooking. This will allow the gluten in the flour to relax, which will make your pancakes more tender.
- Cook the pancakes over medium heat. If the heat is too high, the pancakes will burn on the outside before they're cooked through on the inside.
- Flip the pancakes only once. Flipping them too often will make them tough.
- Serve the pancakes immediately with your favorite toppings. Butter, syrup, fruit, or whipped cream are all great options.
Conclusion:
Cinnamon brown sugar pancakes are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast. With a few simple ingredients, you can have a stack of hot, fluffy pancakes in no time. So next time you're looking for a quick and tasty breakfast, give this recipe a try!
