Tips

  • For a classic coleslaw, use a combination of green and red cabbage. For a more colorful slaw, add some shredded carrots, bell peppers, or radishes.
  • To save time, use a food processor or mandoline to shred the cabbage and other vegetables.
  • Be sure to drain the cabbage well before adding it to the dressing. This will help prevent the coleslaw from becoming watery.
  • Use a light hand when mixing the coleslaw. Overmixing can make the cabbage tough.
  • Let the coleslaw chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Serve coleslaw as a side dish with grilled or fried meats, fish, or poultry. It can also be used as a topping for tacos, burritos, or sandwiches.

Conclusion

Citrus coleslaw is a refreshing and flavorful side dish that is perfect for summer gatherings. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking.

With its tangy citrus dressing and crunchy vegetables, citrus coleslaw is a delicious and healthy addition to any meal.
