Tips:

  • Choose the Right Salmon: Opt for a high-quality, thick-cut salmon fillet with a vibrant color and minimal grayish areas.
  • Prepare the Salmon Properly: Pat the salmon dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which helps achieve crispy skin.
  • Generous Seasoning: Don't be afraid to season the salmon liberally with the Moroccan spice blend. The flavors will intensify during the roasting process.
  • Roast at a High Temperature: Roasting the salmon at a high temperature (425°F) ensures a crispy exterior and a moist, tender interior.
  • Let the Salmon Rest: After roasting, let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more flavorful and succulent fish.
  • Garnish for Presentation: Enhance the visual appeal by garnishing the salmon with fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley, lemon wedges, and a drizzle of olive oil.
