Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start baking, make sure you have all the ingredients and tools you need. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling later on.
  • Follow the recipe carefully: Baking is a science, so it's important to follow the recipe exactly. If you substitute ingredients or change the measurements, you may not get the desired results.
  • Use quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly affect the taste of your baked goods. Whenever possible, use fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Pay attention to the oven temperature: The oven temperature is critical for baking. Make sure your oven is preheated to the correct temperature before you start baking, and don't open the oven door during baking unless absolutely necessary.
  • Don't overmix: Overmixing can make your baked goods tough and dense. Mix only until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let your baked goods cool completely before serving: This will help them to set and develop their full flavor.
