Tips for Making Corn Chip Tacos:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. This means using fresh, flavorful corn chips, ground beef, and vegetables. Using cheese that melts easily is also important.
  • Season the ground beef well. This is the key to making the tacos flavorful. Be sure to use a variety of seasonings, such as chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. You can also add a bit of heat with cayenne pepper or minced chipotle peppers.
  • Don't overcook the ground beef. Overcooked ground beef is tough and dry. Cook it just until it is no longer pink inside.
  • Use a variety of toppings. This is what makes corn chip tacos so fun and customizable. Some popular toppings include shredded cheese, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and diced tomatoes.
  • Serve the tacos immediately. This is when they are at their best. The corn chips will be crispy, and the fillings will be hot and flavorful.
