TENNESSEE MEATLOAF
My Grandmother 'Nanaw' Rowan made the most delicious meatloaf in the state. When she passed away, she didn't leave me her recipe, but she left me the desire to recreate it. I think this is it, in flavor and texture. Don't let the number of ingredients discourage you. It's part of the magic in creating a masterpiece!

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the meatloaf will taste. If possible, use ground beef that is freshly ground and cornflakes that are not stale.
- Don't overmix the meatloaf: Overmixing can make the meatloaf tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Shape the meatloaf into a loaf shape: This will help it cook evenly. Use a loaf pan if desired.
- Bake the meatloaf at a high temperature: This will help it brown and cook through quickly.
- Let the meatloaf rest before slicing: This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meatloaf and make it easier to slice.
Conclusion:
Cornflake meatloaf is a classic comfort food dish that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. Using a simple combination of ground beef, cornflakes, and a few other common ingredients, you can create a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy. Experiment with different variations of the recipe, such as adding different spices or vegetables, to create a unique and flavorful dish that suits your taste.
