Tips:

  • Use fresh cranberries and pineapple. Fresh fruit will give your tea the best flavor. If you can't find fresh cranberries, you can use frozen cranberries, but be sure to thaw them before using.
  • Make a simple syrup. A simple syrup is a mixture of sugar and water that is heated until the sugar dissolves. This syrup will help to sweeten your tea and make it more flavorful. To make a simple syrup, combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool completely.
  • Steep the tea bags in hot water. To make the tea, place the tea bags in a heatproof container and pour the boiling water over them. Let the tea bags steep for 5-7 minutes, or according to the package directions. Remove the tea bags and discard them.
  • Add the cranberries, pineapple, and simple syrup to the tea. Stir to combine. Let the tea cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve the tea over ice. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a sprig of mint.
