Tips:

  • To make the cranberry sauce, be sure to use fresh cranberries. Frozen cranberries will not work as well.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can chop the cranberries by hand. Just be sure to chop them very finely.
  • You can use any type of chocolate chips you like in this recipe. Semi-sweet chocolate chips are a classic choice, but you could also use dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, or even white chocolate chips.
  • If you don't have any vanilla extract, you can use almond extract or lemon extract instead.
  • Be sure to line your baking pan with parchment paper before you pour in the mixture. This will make it easy to lift the bars out of the pan once they're done baking.
  • Let the bars cool completely before you cut them into squares. This will help them to hold their shape.

Conclusion:

Cranberry Rice Krispies Treats are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They're made with just a few simple ingredients and can be ready in under 30 minutes.
