CREAM CHEESE-OLIVE ROLL-UPS

Cream Cheese-Olive Roll-Ups image

These are easy to make, plan ahead the rolled tortillas need to chill for a few hours before slicing, watch the garlic amount adding in too much will overpower all other ingredients, the garlic flavor will intensify with chilling time, I would suggest no more than 2 teaspoons --- Mexi-blend shredded cheese may be used in place of the cheddar, prep time includes chilling time

  • Use high-quality cream cheese: The cream cheese is the star of the show in these roll-ups, so make sure you use a good one. Look for a cream cheese that is smooth and spreadable and has a rich, creamy flavor.
  • Use fresh herbs: The herbs in these roll-ups add a lot of flavor, so make sure you use fresh herbs whenever possible. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but they will not be as flavorful.
  • Use a variety of olives: The different types of olives in these roll-ups add different flavors and textures. Experiment with different types of olives to find your favorite combination.
  • Don't overstuff the roll-ups: The roll-ups should be easy to eat in one or two bites, so don't overstuff them. If you overstuff them, they will be difficult to eat and may fall apart.
  • Serve the roll-ups immediately: These roll-ups are best served immediately after they are made. If you need to make them ahead of time, you can store them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. However, the flavors will be best if you serve them fresh.
