1 large onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, pressed
4 cups peeled, seeded, and cubed butternut squash
2 cups bite-sized cauliflower florets
1 apple - peeled, cored, and diced
6 cups vegetable stock
2 teaspoons garam masala
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
salt and ground black pepper to taste
½ cup low-fat sour cream

Steps:

1 head cauliflower, broken into florets
2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
¼ teaspoon curry powder
1 onion, cut into large chunks
3 cloves garlic, peeled
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup half-and-half
½ cup cooking sherry
4 tablespoons crumbled goat cheese
4 tablespoons crumbled cooked bacon

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

6 cups chicken broth
2 celery ribs, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 medium carrot, chopped
1 large head cauliflower (2 pounds), broken into florets

3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1 cup half-and-half cream
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

1 apple, cored, peeled and diced
1/2 cauliflower, cut into florets (about 2 cups)

2 teaspoons garam masala
1/2 teaspoon dried chili pepper flakes
salt and pepper

1 carrot
1 medium onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb butternut squash
1/2 lb potato
1 -2 teaspoon salt (to your taste)
4 cups hot water

  • Cut up the squash and potatoes into cubes, about 1 inch.
  • Cook celery, carrot and onion over low heat in the olive oil, about 10 minutes.
