1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
⅓ cup sour cream
1 (2.8 ounce) package French-fried onions, divided
¼ teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Cook vegetables according to package directions; drain. In a large bowl combine vegetables, mushroom soup, 1/2 cup cheese, sour cream, 1/2 can fried onions and pepper. Transfer to a deep pie plate.

2 garlic cloves, minced
6 tablespoons butter, cubed
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups 2% milk
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Dash cayenne pepper
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring cauliflower and 1 in. of water to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 6-7 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain well; set aside. , In another saucepan, saute garlic in butter for 1 minute. Stir in flour until blended; gradually add milk. ¼ cup butter
2 tablespoons cornstarch
½ cup cold water
