This recipe used to be found on the back of a well known brand of marshmallow cream. Many were surprised when it was changed. This is the original! You may find that most packages of chocolate chips are 10 ounces now; 12 ounces of chocolate chips is roughly 2 cups.

COOKIES 'N' CREAM FUDGE
I invented this confection for a bake sale at our children's school. Boy, was it a hit! The crunchy chunks of sandwich cookie soften a bit as the mixture mellows. It's so sweet that one panful serves a crowd. -Laura Lane, Richmond, Virginia

AUNT TEEN'S CREAMY CHOCOLATE FUDGE
This was my aunt's recipe for fudge, passed down through the family. It's better than any fudge I've ever had at the Jersey shore, and easy enough to whip up in 15 minutes or so.

Tips:
- To ensure the fudge sets properly, use a heavy saucepan and a candy thermometer. The fudge should reach 234°F (112°C) before removing it from the heat.
- If you don't have a candy thermometer, you can test the fudge by dropping a small amount into a glass of cold water. If the fudge forms a soft ball, it is ready. If it dissolves, it needs to be cooked longer.
- To make the fudge extra creamy, use a combination of milk and cream. You can also add a small amount of butter or corn syrup for a richer flavor.
- For a chocolate fudge, add 1/2 cup of cocoa powder to the melted butter mixture. For a peanut butter fudge, add 1/2 cup of peanut butter to the melted butter mixture.
- Once the fudge has set, cut it into small pieces and store it in an airtight container at room temperature. Fudge can be stored for up to 2 weeks.
Conclusion:
Kraft's creamy fudge is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a rich and creamy fudge that will be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give Kraft's creamy fudge a try.
