2 teaspoons honey

Tips:

  • Use fresh oranges: Fresh oranges provide the best flavor for the vinaigrette. If you don't have fresh oranges, you can use bottled orange juice, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Choose a good quality olive oil: The olive oil is the base of the vinaigrette, so it's important to choose a good quality oil. Look for an extra virgin olive oil that is fruity and flavorful.
  • Add a little honey or maple syrup: A little bit of honey or maple syrup can help to balance out the acidity of the vinegar and orange juice. This is especially important if you are using a particularly tart orange.
  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs can add a lot of flavor to the vinaigrette. Some good options include basil, thyme, rosemary, and oregano.
  • Let the vinaigrette rest: Letting the vinaigrette rest for a few minutes before using allows the flavors to meld together. This will result in a more flavorful vinaigrette.

Conclusion:

A creamy orange vinaigrette is a versatile dressing that can be used on a variety of salads, vegetables, and even grilled meats. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its bright, citrusy flavor, this vinaigrette is sure to become a favorite in your kitchen.
