Tips:

  • To ensure the wontons are crispy, make sure the oil is hot enough before frying them. You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of wonton wrapper into it; if it sizzles immediately, the oil is hot enough.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when frying the wontons. This will cause them to steam instead of fry, resulting in soggy wontons.
  • For a more flavorful filling, use a variety of meats and vegetables. Some popular options include ground pork, shrimp, chicken, cabbage, carrots, and celery.
  • To make the wontons more visually appealing, you can brush them with a mixture of egg yolk and water before frying. This will give them a golden brown color.
  • Serve the wontons with your favorite dipping sauce. Some popular options include soy sauce, vinegar, and chili sauce.

Conclusion:

Crispy pork wontons are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for any occasion, from casual get-togethers to formal parties.
