1 tablespoon oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 green pepper, seeded, cut into strips
1 red pepper, seeded, cut into strips
1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups pineapple chunks, reserve juice
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
chow mein noodles or rice, for serving
